What is DOP?
Dioctyl phthalate, abbreviated as DOP, is an organic ester compound and a commonly used plasticizer.DOP plasticizer has the characteristics of environmental protection, non-toxic, mechanically stable, good gloss, high plasticizing efficiency, good phase solubility, low oxidation and volatilization, and can inhibit the exudation of oil esters.
DOP is a universal plasticizer mainly used in the processing of polyvinyl chloride resin, as well as in the processing of high polymers such as chemical resins, acetic acid resins, ABS resins, and rubber. It can also be used in paint making, dyes, dispersants, etc. DOP plasticized PVC can be used in the manufacturing of artificial leather, agricultural films, packaging materials, cables, etc.
This product is the most widely used plasticizer in industry. In addition to cellulose acetate and polyvinyl acetate, it has good compatibility with the vast majority of synthetic resins and rubbers used in industry. This product has good comprehensive performance, good mixing performance, high plasticizing efficiency, low volatility, good low-temperature flexibility, water extraction resistance, high electrical performance, good heat resistance and weather resistance.
